Houston Cy-Fair Lions Club is currently purchasing eye exams and eyeglasses for children within the Houston Cy-Fair School District whose parents cannot afford to purchase. Students are referred by school nurses to one of five different optometrists with which we work in the area, and the Lions Club pays for the exam and eyeglasses. Helen Keller, addressing the Lions Club International Convention in 1925, charged Lions to be “Knights of the Blind.”
